KEARNEY A Kearney teen faces charges of driving under the influence of drugs following a two-semi, two-car crash north of Kearney.
At 1:50 p.m. Friday, emergency crews were called to the crash at state Highways 10 and 40 where Hunter Rheome, 15, is accused of failing to yield the right of way to traffic on Highway 10 and causing the four-vehicle crash. A Buffalo County Sheriffs Office accident report says Rheome was driving a 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier east on 78th Street when he allegedly failed to yield the right of way to a 2006 Pontiac G6 driven by Jennifer Phillips, 63, of Minden. She was driving south on Highway 10.
